The Terrace Salvation Army Thrift Store has been a part of the community for many, many years. Throughout the decades, the location of this thrift store has changed but our commitment to providing quality service, a friendly atmosphere and a listening ear has not changed. The Thrift Store is a vital part of our fundraising for the Salvation Army in Terrace with all purchases from our stores generating funds to support the many social programs offered here in the community.
These programs include:
Our breakfast program, emergency food and clothing, our children and youth programming, camping ministry and Christmas Hamper program.
We also divert thousands of pounds of good quality merchandise from the landfill. We recycle 90% of our unusable textiles and books and other items.
Our bright and airy floor space features gently used (and at times new) clothing, jewellery, housewares, tools, books, small appliances, amazing auctions, and everything else you have come to expect from our store.
Located at 3236 Kalum Street and open Tuesday – Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
